How Many Places Are Available
We are registered for 29 children. This is divided into categories of nine children under the age of two and twenty children between the ages of two and five years.
Types of Places
We offer 22 community places and 7 private places. The only differences in these places are the waiting list and fees. A community place is based on your gross household income and decided by Islington Council. The fees are divided into seven bands and depend on the age of your child. It is only eligible to Islington residents. Non Islington residents will be offered a marketed (private) place.
A place may be reserved once pregnancy has been confirmed and the Nursery will contact you once a space is available. The Nursery adheres to Islington Council’s ‘Admissions’ policy when allocating Nursery places. Places may not allocated due to the length of time a child’s name has been on the waiting list. Priority must be given to Islington parents, those on a low income, children placed by Islington Council and siblings. The Nursery requires one month’s fees to secure a place. Once you have paid the deposit, you will be sent a confirmation letter to arrange the settling period.
